On September 26, 2022, the National Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship SNCO hosted the iGorts 2022 Fellowship program’s professionals who will be serving in the public sector and the government of the Republic of Armenia
The meeting began with a warm welcome by the CEO of NCIE, Hayk Margarian, an iGorts 2020 alumni working at the Ministry of Economy, before being appointed as the CEO of the Center. Mr. Margarian greeted the guests with an appreciation note of the remarkable work done by Armenia’s Office of the High Commissioner of Diaspora Affairs to bridge the gap between Armenia and the Diaspora.
The CEO congratulated the two iGorts 2021 fellows who continue working at our Center; Gagik Harutyunyan is one of the few to receive financing from the “Hrair and Anna Hovnanian” Foundation, and Gassia Samuelian, with a permanent part-time job. Moreover, he noted how important and spectacular their commitment to the program is.
The CEO elaborated on how the organization in itself has improved in recent months and what challenges it had to overcome. Finally, he stated the importance of the organization's hard work and how the members will thrive to stand beside the Armenian nation and help it grow, which is the means to reach its full potential.
The meeting was concluded by a gratitude note from Hermine Harutyunyan, The Head of Program Management and Monitoring Department at The Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, towards the effort put by Hayk Margarian and the astonishing results the work brings for iGorts members. She mentioned that the most effective results were from NCIE and that they look forward to furthering upcoming members with greater achievements.
This year, nearly 300 Diaspora-Armenians from 32 countries have sent applications, from which 50 were selected to begin their careers in Armenia. The below-mentioned candidates will be working at our Center for one year.
Tatevi Agadjanyan is from Bryansk, Russia. She graduated from the Oryol Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation V.V Lukyanov. She worked in the Bryansk Chamber of Commerce as an information and marketing specialist and participated in developing the IT plan. She has more than 5 years of experience in the legal field and defended the interests of the Rosreestr Office in the courts of general jurisdiction. She also has experience working in government as a specialist.
Sofia Pasdanyan was born and raised in Russia. She graduated with a Specialist degree in PR from Moscow State University after MV Lomonosov and a Master's degree in Management from the University of RANEPA. She has more than 15 years of experience in market research and marketing communication. She created a museum and an automated service for selecting state support measures for entrepreneurs of one of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
Marine Esaian is from St. Petersburg, Russia. She graduated from the Russian Justice Academy in 2012, came to Armenia in 2018 to volunteer through the Birthright Armenia program, and decided to repatriate. She has 10+ years of experience in law (junior, corporate, and public sector lawyer). Before coming to Armenia, she was a corporate lawyer in a large holding company dealing with logistics and the catering sphere.
Lilit Beglarian is from Ukraine. She graduated from the Odessa National Univesity I.I Mechnikov, with a Master's degree in Jurisprudence and is the author of several scientific articles. She started her career as a lawyer at 21, specializing in business support and foreign investment policies. She's the Executive Director of the Armenian Business Club, promoting the partnership and cooperation of Armenian businesses in Ukraine and abroad.
