The conference summed up the Union’s strategic accomplishments and outlined future plans presented by the Executive Director, Hayk Chobanyan. The achievements were realized in different directions, such as education, military, research, e-government, labor force, and technologies.

The Minister of High-Tech Industry, Robot Khachatryan, underlined that the Government of the Republic of Armenia considers high technologies and innovation as the priorities of economic development. Therefore, the significant steps taken by UATE toward the targeted development and progress of the sector, with the application of the latest technological solutions, are vital requirements today. “Information and high-tech companies, international corporations, and organizations operating in Armenia are united around one platform, which allows uniting forces to work more systematically and targeted,” said Khachatryan.

UATE has implemented the most extensive national technological education program with public-private partnerships, including 627 engineering laboratories and about 16,000 students.

We would like to congratulate the new board members and the chairman elected at the end of the conference by the organization members.
