The Honorary Consul of Norway and Finland, Timothy David Strait, visited our Center along with the CEO of Homeland Development Initiative Foundation (HDIF), Jean Pierre Djabarian, and discussed the prospects of cooperation and the related issues to joint events planned for 2023.
The Christmas Bazaar held on December 17 was already the first joint event, bringing together repats, ex-pats, and refugees from Syria, Lebanon, Artsakh, Russia, and Ukraine. It was mutually noted that the Bazaar successfully stimulated great interest among residents and guests.
The initiator and the main organizer of the Bazaar was the HDIFoundation, founded by Mr. Timothy Strait. The National Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship was one of the event's co-organizers.
During his visit to the NCIE, Mr. Timothy Strait also visited the sewing training center «Space 59», located on Komitas 49/3 and established within the framework of the UNIDO Armenia project on the modernization of the sewing industry of Armenia.
It's worth noting that with the assistance of Mr. Timothy Strait and the director of the business accelerator «the founder institute», Narine Kotikyan, Hayk Margarian met with members of Finnish East European and Central Asian business clubs and discussed the possibility of implementing joint projects.
