Meeting With Diaspora Youth Ambassador Program’s Participant — NCIE

On October 9, The Director of NCIE, Hayk Margarian, and the Head of Brain Gain concept, Mr. Petros Mitchell, who moved to Armenia from Australia, visited the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs office. They met the Diaspora Youth Ambassador Program’s participants from different countries.

The program’s purpose is to create a dynamic network of Armenian youth ambassadors worldwide and targets 25 youth, from 22 to 35 years old, from the Armenian communities of the Diaspora for one year, during which two weeks will be spent in Armenia.

Upon their return to their respective communities, the youth will produce media content for local and international outlets and plan and implement community meetings and repatriation talks with the Armenian Diaspora communities.

Hayk Margarian noted the importance of the Diaspora’s active participation in Armenia and introduced the participants to the Center’s activities and future projects on digital transformation, entrepreneurship, development, and innovation.

Mr. Petros was amazed by the commitment and enthusiasm of the Ambassadors coming from Countries around the world.

We wish the candidates the best of luck in their future endeavors.
