Global Innovation Forum 2022

FAST organized the 4th Global Innovation Forum on October 5-6, 2022, at Dvin Music Hall, Yerevan. The forum hosted prominent guests from The Republic of Armenia's governmental institutions and the business ecosystem, as international speakers from leading companies such as PMI, ABBYY, Moderna Inc, and the CEO of The National Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Hayk Margarian. More than 800 participants actively attended 33 sessions and 11 GIF talks.

The 4th Global Innovation Forum (GIF22) probed the impact of “Life-Altering Technologies” on human life. The forum mainly focused on the change Artificial Intelligence (AI) makes in human lives and the technology's challenges or further accomplishments. Additionally, the event attendees talked about the industries and technology that artificial intelligence has affected and what the problem's potential solutions are. The third panel, "Innovative Armenia in the making," concentrated on an in-depth discussion of Armenia's path to ranking among the top 5 innovators in artificial intelligence by 2041.

The ceremony commenced with The Deputy Prime Minister, Hambardzum Matevosyan, announcing Armenia's readiness to enhance further partnerships in innovation, open internet, and high-tech. The Founding CEO of FAST, Dr. Armen Orujyan, prompted reflections on hidden perspectives of innovations and human capacity. The co-founder of FAST, public and political figure Mr. Ruben Vardanyan delivered closing remarks, emphasizing the role of innovations in times of ideal storm.

The Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology, which serves as a foundation for various cutting-edge STEM research and administers grant programs, hosted and coordinated the Global Innovation Forum. The foundation is engaged in establishing an ecosystem of innovative projects from representatives to assist and direct scientists, technicians, and other luminaries in Armenia and outside to help them succeed further in their endeavors.
