Throughout their trip to Ukraine, NCIE members were honored to meet the Ambassador of Armenia to Ukraine, Mr. Vladimir Karapetyan, and Third Secretary of the Embassy, Mr. Hayk Torosyan, during their visit to the Armenian Embassy in Kyiv. They discussed the meetings that took place and the agreements reached. The participation of Armenia in the Diia summit organized by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine was especially emphasized. Hayk Margarian presented the two main sections of NCIE: Technology Transfer Office and Business Support Center and presented the work done during this period, notably the restructuring of the NCIE and approving the mandate.
Hayk Margarian explained the role of the Ukrainian government in the digitalization process by the establishment of the new Ministry of Digital Transformation. Mr. Ambassador used the visit of the Armenian delegation to Ukraine, as a sign to establish and strengthen bilateral economic relations. He emphasized that the Government of Ukraine pays great attention to the digitalization of the economy, especially in promoting this sphere by appointing high-ranking political officials. He noted that we should promote Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Armenia similarly and expressed his readiness to support appropriate bilateral meetings and connect Armenian and Ukrainian businessmen for Armenia’s prosperity.
