On October 8, the Director of the NCIE, Hayk Margarian, and two iGortsfellows, Ruzanna Grigorian and Gassia Samuelian, attended the 6th Armenian Internet Governance Forum organized by the RA Internet Governance Conference Interdepartmental Group (IGC) of the RA Ministry of High Technology Industry, Internet Society NGO and Internet Society Armenia Sector NGO at Holiday Inn-Yerevan.
The main objectives of the forum: were to provide an open and transparent platform for all stakeholder groups, bring up and discuss Internet governance-related issues, and deliver the messages to the policymakers.
The event focused on relevant internet governance issues, informed the attendees about the policy-making processes, covered several topics such as digital inclusion: online education, hate speech, and E-Health in Armenia, and answered the audience's questions.
