Neruzh 3.0 - Dilijan

Armenian professional repatriation is what Neruzh was about. From October 21 to 25, the National Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship partnered with the governmental program Neruzh 3.0, which will contribute to Armenia's economic progress and the startup ecosystem's development. This year, the five-day event is implemented in Dilijan by the joint efforts of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry and the "My Step" Foundation.

In previous programs, Neruzh hosted more than 140 startups from 2018 until 2022, during which the participating teams learned about the advantages of doing business in Armenia, received exclusive individual mentoring, and claimed up to 30 000 USD in grants.

The five-day event's agenda was full of interactive courses, master classes by leading experts, extensive entrepreneurial training, and guest speakers, including Andrey Pyatakhin, Armen Orujyan, Asti Pili, and David Bequette. The Neruzh governmental program aims to promote professional repatriation, contributing to Armenia's economic progress and the startup ecosystem's development.

On the second day, our Center’s CEO, Hayk Margarian and iGorts Fellow, Gagik Harutyunyan, were invited to Dilijan to speak about Business in Armenia by giving examples of the latest trends, governmental reimbursement programs and initiatives, tax benefits, and the legalities of the business environment. They also encouraged the participants to open their businesses in Armenia, where there are no restrictions on foreign ownership of companies, real property, and other assets.

On the third day of the event, the participants had one-on-one and group office hours with mentors Dr. Armen Kherlopian, Rem Darbinyan, Arevik Gasparyan, and NCIE’s iGorts Fellow, Verej Isanians. The participants passionately discussed the growth and planning of their startups by understanding the critical changes in the fast-paced world.

The National Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship CEO, Hayk Margarian, was among the jury members to evaluate the 25 Diaspora-Armenian startups. The “Biocentric” Team was awarded first place, the “Reactive Science” Team was awarded second, and the “ATMT” Team won third place award. In addition, special prizes from Orion Worldwide Innovations and BAJ Accelerator were granted to “Low-Code Armenia” and “DrumStar” Teams.

We congratulate the winning teams and all participants for the extraordinary experience and wish them the best in their future endeavors.
