On June 1st and 2nd, 2022, the National Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship participated in the EMERGE international tech conference, held at the Gabriel Sundukyan National Academic Theater in Yerevan. The conference brought together the most promising startups, talents, and ecosystem players from the New East region.
Emerge 2022's purpose was to share the latest trends and insiders from different industries with IT specialists, founders, and investors and become a platform for high-quality networking of participants. The event was attended by more than two thousand representatives of the IT industry from the USA, Western and Eastern Europe, the Balkan region, and Central Asia.
During the two-day event, several dozen speakers from all over the world, including from the field of venture investments such as Speedinvest, Runa Capital, a delegation of investors from the Czech Republic (Presto Ventures, Depo Ventures), Startups Wise Guys accelerators, Rockstart and more than one and a half hundred investors who spoke at the even.
The speeches focused on two directions (#trendwatching) and stories of company founders (#founderstories). On the track about trends, experts discussed how our lives are being transformed under the influence of rapidly developing technologies. The platform was dedicated to the founders of startups, who shared their personal success stories and life challenges that they had to go through while creating a company strategy, assessing a niche, entering the global market, and attracting venture capital investments.
