On October 29 and 30, 2021, NCIE members attended the DigiTec21 Summit International Conference that was held in parallel with the biggest and most anticipated IT event of the year #DigiTec21 Expo organized by the Ministry of High Tech Industry of RA and Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises-UATE at Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex. The global two-day conference consisted of a series of keynote panel discussions moderated by international technology journalists, and featured both in-person and online participation by leading entrepreneurs, executives, policy-makers, and members of the research and focused on understanding the global context, designing the opportunity space and developing an action plan and playbook for ambitious tech-oriented countries such as Armenia. NCIE members and the Digitalization Advisor to the Director, Jack Hakimian, explored the exhibition that brought together more than 100 leading companies of Armenia and 60 pavilions with a line of competitive products and brands.
The director of NCIE, Hayk Margarian, and the advisor on Entrepreneurship Grachia Margarian had the chance to network with many ambitious people from the tech industry, highlighted the importance of investing in Armenia’s future development, and discussed partnership opportunities.
