On November 3, 2021, NCIE members visited ISTC Foundation, the joint initiative of the Gov of the RA, USAID, Enterprise Incubator Foundation, IBM, and Yerevan State University.
Following a brief tour, Areg Gevorgyan, the CEO of ISTC, introduced the organization’s programs focusing on empowering Armenian talents, developing and strengthening the educational capacity of RA higher education institutions in the field of IT, and deepening the research potential in the education context for building innovative solutions. In the 5-year ecosystem development, ISTC Foundation empowered more than 2000 talented students, 30 startups, and 35 research projects.
The director of NCIE, Hayk Margarian, presented our Center’s current projects, future plans and had a very positive discussion on further collaboration opportunities to position Armenia as one of the leading tech hubs of the world.
We wish GLC success in all new endeavors and are ready for further cooperation.
