On April 20, 2022, Representatives from NCIE and the Deputy Minister of Economy, Rafael Gevorgyan, visited the Institute of Botany after A.L. Takhtajyan. They were introduced to the institute's scientific, environmental, recreational, and entertainment activities.
The institute shared its problems with the attendees, and suggestions were made for potential solutions while also discussing the conditions of the greenhouses and nurseries. The discussion was followed by a tour of the botanical garden and the museum.
During the last 70 years, thanks to the efforts of its research team, the Institute of Botany NAS RA has become one of the leading botanical institutes carrying out valuable fundamentals. They applied investigations on the flora and vegetation of Armenia and the introduction and acclimatization of plants in the Botanical Gardens of Armenia (Yerevan, Vanadzor, and Sevan).
Further cooperation was discussed to assist the institute with the needed essentials.
