We recently reached an agreement with the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs on developing a road map to exchange information and support for Diaspora Armenian entrepreneurs.
During the meeting, the CEO of our Center, Hayk Margarian, and the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Zareh Sinanyan, agreed to prepare a draft of the Cooperation Agreement with the following pre-planned directions of cooperation:
- The State program for covering the costs of salaries of highly qualified specialists can become the continuation of the strategy of attracting high-level specialists to Armenia;
- Within The "Diaspora Youth's Ambassadors" program initiated by the Office of High Commissioner for Diaspora affairs, young diaspora ambassadors are empowered to become the representatives of our Center in their countries of residence, to establish ties with local state structures;
- Development of a road map of support to Diaspora-Armenian scientists and entrepreneurs, as well as the creation of a database of projects requiring investment;
The parties also agreed on information exchange regarding currently implemented programs and projects.
